Individual Art Therapy

Individual Art Therapy

Individual Art Therapy Sessions are typically 45-50 minutes in length, and take place in my Art Therapy Studio at Radical Healing. In Individual Art Therapy, you and I will work together to help you meet self-determined goals (examples of these goals could be recovering from distress or trauma, gaining emotional clarity, learning to manage symptoms, building self-esteem, finding self-fulfillment, or other goals). In all Art Therapy sessions that I conduct, I affirm and trust in you as the expert of your own experience. I work with an intersectional lens, meaning that I understand most people experience multiple, layered oppressions, and I will work with you to address the impact of those oppressions in therapy.

I enjoy working with clients of all ages, including children, youth + adolescents, and adults. I am skilled in addressing the following:

  • Trauma, Complex Trauma + Traumatic Loss
  • Survivors of violence
  • Self-esteem + Confidence
  • Relationship Issues
  • Life transitions
  • Sexuality
  • Gender identity
  • Bullying
  • Anxiety
  • Body image

Group Art Therapy

Art Therapy Groups typically run 60-75 minutes in length, include 10 or fewer members, and take place in the Group Therapy Room at Radical Healing. The Art Therapy Group is intended to serve as a safe space where clients (group members) can give and receive support, and share in healing together. My Group Art Therapy sessions are typically designed around a specific theme. More information about current Art Therapy Group offerings is available below.
